Currently, Tavonga is studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management at Africa University. As a dedicated university student, he is focused on building a future where he can make a meaningful impact by empowering others in the workplace.

His journey has not been without challenges. Transitioning between schools required adaptability, but perhaps the greatest hurdle was internal, believing in his own potential. Over time, Tavonga overcame these doubts, emerging stronger and more confident in his abilities.

Tavonga pursued his secondary education at Harare High School and Sandringham High School, where he demonstrated strong academic commitment. His hard work paid off when he achieved an impressive 15 points at A-Level, a milestone that marked a turning point in his life.

“My journey is proof that your start in life does not define your finish. The challenges we face build the strength we need for tomorrow.”

Tavonga believes deeply in the power of community and resilience. He often reflects on how the support he received transformed his outlook on life, teaching him that no dream is too big when supported by a strong foundation.

To the children currently at the home, Tavonga offers this message:

your dreams are valid and within reach. Embrace the love and support around you, work hard, and never stop believing in yourself.

Why This Story Matters
