Chiwoniso spent approximately five years at the Patricia Jabangwe Children’s Home, from Form 2 to Form 4, where she received not only care but a foundation that helped shape her future.

After leaving the home, Chiwoniso pursued a Nurse Aid course between 2010 and 2015. This step marked the beginning of her professional journey in healthcare. She later gained international experience, working in Cape Town for a year as a Nurse Aid, further strengthening her skills and independence.

Chiwoniso’s entrepreneurial spirit has also flourished over the years. Together with her husband, she co-owns a catering business operating in Shurugwi at Todal Mining since 2022. The business continues to grow, with aspirations to secure more contracts and expand its reach.

Yet her story doesn’t end there.

In addition to catering, she is also running a small-scale clothing business. Though still developing, she is determined to grow it into a larger venture over time, demonstrating her drive to create multiple streams of income and long-term sustainability.
